KeyWe - UI & Brand Identity Redesign for a Real Estate Platform

KeyWe - UI & Brand Identity Redesign for a Real Estate Platform

Overview

KeyWe was a real estate platform in the Redfin/Zillow space, and I was brought on through SDI to redesign the UI for the platform. Once I got into the work, it was clear the brand identity behind it hadn't kept pace. There was no real visual system holding the product together, so I recommended a brand facelift alongside the UI work.

Problem

The platform's interface didn't feel trustworthy or competitive next to established players like Redfin. Underneath that, the brand itself was thin, so even a strong UI redesign would have been sitting on a shaky foundation. The two problems had to be solved together, not separately.

Outcome

The project wrapped before the facelift could be carried through. It was contracted work through SDI, and the client didn't stay within scope on their end, which brought the engagement to a close. The recommendation stands as an example of catching a brand-level problem while doing focused UI work, not just executing the brief as given.
